
New - Short-Term Substitute License
Individuals holding an Associate’s Degree or having completed 60 hours of college coursework are now eligible for a Short-Term Substitute License.
Interested individuals must:
-Submit official transcripts to the Regional Office of Education (ROE)
-Be fingerprinted at the ROE and pay the $60 fee
-Complete a physical; form submitted to the ROE
-Attend the required district substitute teacher training on October 25, 2018 at Mahomet-Seymour Administrative Center. (8:45 am - 10:45 am)
-Pay the $25 application fee
Once all the steps are completed, individuals will be issued a Short-Term Substitute License. The license is valid through June 30, 2023 and allows individuals to substitute up to 5 consecutive days for a classroom teacher PK-12. Mahomet-Seymour currently pays $100 day for teacher substitutes. Paperwork for Mahomet-Seymour can be found on the district website. www.mahometseymour.org

Mahomet-Seymour HOF Induction Ceremony is tonight @ 6:30 before kickoff of football game. What a wonderful event for our community & family/friends of inductees, especially at our Homecoming Celebration. Thank you Jim Risley & MSEF for all of hard work that goes into this.

A celebration today of our remodeled Ag Shop at Mahomet-Seymour HS. Thank you to Farm Credit and the White Family for your generous donations. Our Ag program is amazing--the hard work of teacher Jenn Wherley has increased participation in FFA as well as enrollment in our Ag related classes, and our students are phenomenal! FFA President Michael Myerscough and VP Ellen Bushell lead the way!





Mahomet-Seymour High School's Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2019 is Friday, May 24, 2019 at Krannert.

This panel of mental health experts visited Health classes today at our HS. Students used Padlet to submit questions & interact. Thank you to the panel as well as student teacher Christine Young & health teacher Lisa Martin for bringing this critical discussion to our school.


Our Action Based Learning classroom is humming right along at Middletown Prairie! Combining research based practices of physical activity, brain activity and learning new concepts, this innovative class is a fantastic addition to our K-2 curriculum! #gobulldogs #ILSchoolStories
