Megan Jones is beginning her 17th year as a classroom teacher. She has taught all 17 years in second grade, at Mahomet. Megan and her husband Chris live in Monticello and have two children. Her husband Chris, is a teacher and football and baseball coach at Monticello High School. Her son, Wade, is 9 and will be in 4th grade. Wade loves to watch sports of all kinds, but is especially fond of Cardinals baseball and Duke basketball. Her daughter, Avery, is 6 and will be in 1st grade. Avery loves being with friends, gymnastics, and softball. The Jones family also has a three year old yellow lab named Deuce.
In her free time, Megan loves to exercise, go to the beach, read, attend sporting events, and spend time with family and friends.
Mrs. Jones is looking forward to the start of a new school year, and can't wait to meet her new second grade friends!
