Kathryn Rose is the school district’s physical therapist. She provides school based physical therapy services to children from pre-kindergarten age through the young adult (ATLAS) program. Kathryn’s hometown as a child was Danforth, Illinois where she lived with her parents, twin sister, and her older brother. Kathryn married Gregg Rose in 1987. After living in southern California for a few years, they moved to Mahomet. Their family includes Katelyn, Frank, Kelsey, Lucas, Hannah and Lenora. 

Kathryn began working part-time for the Mahomet-Seymour school district in 1990. She continues to value her part-time employment as she finds a balance of work and family life. Kathryn received a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation Administration from Eastern Illinois University in 1984, and then she  received a second bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 1986. In 2019, she completed a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Texas Tech University Health Science Center.
