The first grade students and their teachers have been busy learning about non-fiction writing. During this unit, the students study various animals and learn about what they eat, where they live, how they have babies, what they look like, and so much more. The students research their animal, write a report, and create their specific animal out of recycled items. It is amazing to see the creative animals. The 1st grade hallways look like a zoo!
